RUM CAKES
Our traditional Caribbean rum cake or black cake as it is sometimes known, is the best rum cake you'll ever taste. Our cake is made from a family recipe handed down through generations and you can really taste the rum - not rum essence. We soak our fruits in good, strong red wines and recognised rums from the caribbean including Mount Gay from Barbados and Wray & Nephew from Jamaica.
This along with the cake spices and essences from the Caribbean that we also use, along with good quality ingredients, make a nice, rich, moist rum fruit cake that we feel is second to none.
Our Caribbean rum cake is popular for wedding, birthday and anniversary cakes and is also one of our most popular cupcakes in our cocktail cupcake range.
Our Caribbean rum cake is a 'Must Have' at Christmas and Easter and our personalised rum cakes make a lovely surprise for someone special. Our topping combines a mix of currants, sultanas, raisins, cherries, apricots, mixed peel and of course a generous helping of rum!! The topping is soaked rum the cake finished with an apricot glaze.

Although we're based in Central London, we're able to package and send our rum cakes throughout the UK and abroad so why not order a cake today on our order page and we will send it out to you by post. We use Royal Mail and MyHermes trackable delivery services and we carefully packaged your cakes. The alcohol content in our rum cake ensures that your cake will remain fresh and moist during transit. Once you receive your cake it will last for around one month or more if kept wrapped and refrigerated in a container. Alternatively your cake will last up to 6 months if frozen. Always serve your cake at room temperature.
